The climax of this book is when Jem and Scout are walking home from Scout's play. Scout played a ham. When they were walking home Jem an Scout heard rustling in the bushes. Out popped Mr. Ewells, he knocked over Scout and attacked Jem. Jem and Mr. Ewells where fighting when Boo Radley came to Jems rescue. Boo stabbed Mr. Ewells and carried Jem home, who was unconscious. Meanwhile this was all happening Scout was just laying on the ground in her ham costume.
Scout is round, dynamic, and it both protagonist and antagonist. Jem is round, dynamic, protagonist and is a protagonist. Atticus is a protagonist, round and stattic. Boo Radley is an antagonist, flat and static. Dill is flat, static, and an antagonist. Tom Robinson is a protagonist, static and flat.
I do not think i would recommend this noval to a friend because it is very hard to read because of how they talk. They are from the deep south and say something i have no clue what they are talking about. It is also hard to grasp the concept of the hole rascism thing. The main thing of this book in how racist the townspeople are towards Tom Robinson. Also, Jem and Scout use some laugange against Tom that would schock people today if they heard kids saying that. On the other hand it was a very good book that had a great lesson. I think i would recommend this to an older group of people then teens. I would recommend this to my dad or mom, not my friends.
This noval is very beliebable. It really shows what things were like in the south when people were totally against black people. This is very believable because there was probably a trial exactly like this, a white man committed the crime but a black man was charged for the crime. In some places today people are racist and blame African Americans for pretty much everything because they are black.
